Children’s & Teen Programming

Don’t miss out on our awesome programs for all ages and interests – crafts, storytimes, cooking, fun activities, yoga, and much more! We also offer Take & Make programs to enjoy after picking up supplies at the library desk or curbside.

Virtual programs take place on a variety of platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and Zoom. (In-house programming is coming soon, so check back often for updates.)

Teen Zoom programs are restricted to students in grades 6–12 with a valid Comsewogue Public Library card. May 4 (5:15-6:15pm or 6:45-7:45pm) – INDOOR May the 4th Be With You (Click Here to Register beginning April 27):
In a galaxy far far away, listen to a Star Wars story, create crafts, and play games with Librarian Mrs. Rizzo. Come dressed as your favorite character, or in any Star Wars attire. Masks must be worn by everyone.  Social distancing is required. Please Note: Students, grades K-5. Students attend without caregiver.

May 17 (7:00pm) ZOOM So Fun City: Magic (Click Here to Register beginning May 4)
Come learn magic with So Fun City! Kids will learn mind-blowing tricks to perform their very own magic shows at home. Get ready to learn tricks you’ve never seen before! Zoom information and a supply list will be emailed to you after registration.

May 20 (10:30am) INDOOR Bilingual Rhyme Time (Click Here to Register beginning May 13): Learn traditional story time rhymes in English and Spanish led by Librarian Mrs. Bagliavio.  Masks must be worn by everyone older than two years.  Social distancing is required. May 24 (7:00pm) – INDOOR Plants and Bugs Workshop (Click Here to Register beginning May 13):
Decorate a small planter, plant seeds in soil, and create little bugs out of Sculpey clay with artist Chris Vivas. Masks must be worn by everyone and social distancing will be adhered to. Please Note: Students, grades K-5. Students attend without caregiver.
